Freelance journalist Dawa Tsomo was accused of breaking China's cyber laws by publishing politically sensitive articles online. Shortly before her arrest Dawa reported on the poor living conditions of Tibetans in a region affected by an earthquake in 2010, Radio Free Asia reported.  It is unclear whether formal charges had been brought against Dawa or whether she had been released at the time of CPJ's 2015 prison census in December.
